Job Description
Summary: Development, implementation, and accountability for operational plans that optimize profitability, market share, and revenue growth for a brand(s) in the short and long term.
About the Role
- Develop launch readiness plans aligned with regional and global TA teams.
- Proactively develop marketing and promotional strategies to meet brand objectives and customer needs.
- Monitor business performance and external environment using appropriate tools to implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with external agencies to deliver brand initiatives.
- Manage budgets accurately for the brand.
- Create and execute operational plans appropriate to the brand's lifecycle to maximize return.
- Achieve sales targets and ensure full accountability for the brand and related programs.
- Utilize marketing principles and C4/MPH processes to meet customer needs.
- Develop customer insights through market understanding and appropriate techniques/tools.
- Support and build team capabilities to achieve goals.
- Manage external agencies to meet team objectives.
- Act as a brand champion to foster enthusiasm and focus internally and with external stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and patient groups to ensure effective engagement.
- Maintain full financial accountability of advertising and promotion budgets within 5%.
- Apply market research insights to create positive business outcomes.
- Deliver at least 90% of the operational plan on time and to a high standard.
- Manage all components of a key or priority brand.
- Develop strategic forecasting based on robust patient models.
- Launch line extensions, new campaigns, or defend generic products.
