Job Description

Summary: Development, implementation, and accountability for operational plans that optimize profitability, market share, and revenue growth for a brand(s) in the short and long term.

About the Role

  1. Develop launch readiness plans aligned with regional and global TA teams.
  2. Proactively develop marketing and promotional strategies to meet brand objectives and customer needs.
  3. Monitor business performance and external environment using appropriate tools to implement corrective actions as needed.
  4. Coordinate with external agencies to deliver brand initiatives.
  5. Manage budgets accurately for the brand.
  6. Create and execute operational plans appropriate to the brand's lifecycle to maximize return.
  7. Achieve sales targets and ensure full accountability for the brand and related programs.
  8. Utilize marketing principles and C4/MPH processes to meet customer needs.
  9. Develop customer insights through market understanding and appropriate techniques/tools.
  10. Support and build team capabilities to achieve goals.
  11. Manage external agencies to meet team objectives.
  12. Act as a brand champion to foster enthusiasm and focus internally and with external stakeholders.
  13. Manage relationships with external agencies and patient groups to ensure effective engagement.
  14. Maintain full financial accountability of advertising and promotion budgets within 5%.
  15. Apply market research insights to create positive business outcomes.
  16. Deliver at least 90% of the operational plan on time and to a high standard.
  17. Manage all components of a key or priority brand.
  18. Develop strategic forecasting based on robust patient models.
  19. Launch line extensions, new campaigns, or defend generic products.
