We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cloud Consultant specializing in hyper-scaler cloud platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with exceptional consulting skills to deliver tailored cloud solutions to our clients.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design, implement, operate, manage, and optimize cloud solutions.
2. Configure and deploy cloud resources, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
4. Conduct cloud assessments, identifying opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs.
5. Implement best practices for cloud operations, governance, and compliance.
6. Deliver technical workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams.
7. Stay updated with the latest features and advancements in OCI, GCP, and other hyperscaler platforms.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with one of the hyperscalers (OCI, GCP, AWS, Azure).
3. Excellent troubleshooting and innovative problem-solving abilities, with the ability to act quickly.
4. Good understanding of Containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.
5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
6. Solid experience in troubleshooting upgrades and implementing Operating Systems (Linux, Windows).
7. Strong understanding of cloud security services and firewall management.
8. Proficiency with structured text formats like JSON, YAML, and XML.
9. Understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and best practices.
10. Cloud Architect Certifications on at least one hyperscaler (OCI, AWS, GCP, Azure).
11. ITIL Certification.
12. Experience with cloud backup and disaster recovery deployments.
13. Proven track record of successful deployments and managed services.
