Job summary

Atkins Realis Group seeks an experienced HVAC technician to install, test, commission, and maintain a range of systems in Medina, Saudi Arabia. You will handle chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV and related equipment, ensuring high performance and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 3–7 years of hands-on HVAC experience, strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems, and familiarity with drawings and manuals.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–7 years of hands-on HVAC experience (project/facilities-based).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Experience in GCC/UAE projects preferred.
• Familiar with international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, CIBSE preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, maintain and repair HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV, DX units and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose system faults, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control issues.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, local codes and project quality requirements.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other trades; respond to breakdowns as required.

Job description

Your role Install test commission maintain and repair HVAC systems including Chillers AHUs FCUs DX units VRF VRV systems Split amp packaged units exhaust fresh air systems Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedules Diagnose system faults and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and control issues Read and interpret drawings schematics and technical manuals Ensure refrigerant charging pressure testing vacuuming and leak detection are conducted properly Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency Ensure compliance with HSE standards local codes and project quality requirements Maintain service reports maintenance logs and records Coordinate with supervisors engineers and other trades as required Respond to emergency breakdowns when required

Qualifications & Experience
