- Fulfils all responsibilities as set in the general maintenance description when assigned by the mechanical engineer, Director of Operation and Maintenance, or FMS Director.
- Performs mechanical and electrical repair, installations, and preventive maintenance in accordance with commercial standards applicable codes, and safety practices.
- Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit.
- Installs equipment including fans, controls, kitchen equipment, pumps, and others as required.
- Installs new circuits, emergency generator services, lighting systems, and energy systems.
- Performs repairs including replacement of fans, UV light, HEPA filters, motors, circuits, dampers, ducts, switches, and other electrical systems.
- Performs preventive maintenance on all units.
- Operates a variety of tools and equipment (Balometer, Manometer, etc.).
- Installs all types of refrigerators, air conditioning, heating, ventilation equipment, and controls.
- Demonstrates knowledge to troubleshoot equipment.
- Demonstrates knowledge of understanding hot water and steam boiler systems.
- Demonstrates knowledge of reading and drawing control schematics.
- Demonstrates knowledge of bending conduits.
- Demonstrates knowledge to attain trouble and emergency calls do not occur during normal and after working hours.
- Responds to trouble and emergency calls that do not occur during normal and after working hours.
- Demonstrates knowledge of reading blueprints, schematic drawings, and updated Saudi building codes.
- Maintain the smoking management system.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Diploma or extensive training in HVAC or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare HVAC with required differential pressure parameters.
Skills and Competencies:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English with enough proficiency to understand and follow technical specifications, work orders, blueprints, schematic drawings, and service manuals with accuracy.
