Job description

Job Title: HVAC Sales Engineer

The HVAC Sales Engineer will conduct sales acquisition, quote preparation, project coordination (turnover), and account management activities in the assigned geographic and/or vertical market territory in support of company goals.

Duties and Responsibilities :
  1. Understanding Customer Needs : Identify customer requirements and challenges to propose suitable products or solutions.
  2. Technical Presentations : Prepare and deliver technical presentations or demonstrations to showcase product features and benefits.
  3. Sales Support : Collaborate with sales teams to develop sales strategies and provide technical support during the sales process.
  4. Product Knowledge : Maintain deep knowledge of company products or services, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  5. Proposal Development : Assist in creating proposals, quotations, and bids for potential customers.
  6. Quote Preparation : Prepare and deliver accurate and competitive price quotes based on customer requirements and company pricing policies.
  7. Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their evolving needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Negotiation : Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements, contracts, and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  9. Post-Sales Support : Provide technical support and assistance to customers after the sale, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  10. Market Analysis : Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential customers.
  11. Training : Conduct training sessions for customers or internal teams on product usage, features, and updates.
  12. Support Sales Executives : Support sales efforts with solution selling into prospect account base.
  13. Strategic Deals : Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare, and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
  14. Technical RFP/RFI Management : Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
