About the job HV/EHV Cable Design Engineer

We are urgently looking for a Design Engineer for one of our clients in the Energy Sector in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Years of Experience: 3-5 years

Educational Qualification: The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree, i.e., BE Engineering, capable of attesting in the Saudi Council of Engineers.

Job Summary:

As a design coordinator, your duties include determining project requirements, developing design concepts, preparing cost estimates, sourcing materials, reviewing progress, and consulting with clients at each stage.

Job Description:

A senior technical resource may serve as a technical advisor for the team, providing specialized input to studies and design within their area of expertise.

Should have good knowledge of Electrical Primary design - HV/EHV Substations (110kV or above) with SEC experience.

• Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality, cost-effective work.
• Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develop construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates for projects.
• Utilize expertise in all steps of completing discipline components of the PS&E package.
• Perform quality control reviews of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepare technical specification sections.
• Provide input to the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.
