Job Description

Summary

The HR Specialist is a core role within the HR department, responsible for supporting stakeholders by providing accurate and timely advice. The role involves assessing and supporting HR needs in line with established processes and regulations.

Note: This position requires work during summer vacation, after hours, and weekends at peak times.

Position Duties
  1. Demonstrate a commitment to child protection and safety.
  2. Maintain knowledge of ISG District policies and procedures.
  3. Convey specialized information accurately.
  4. Provide administrative support within HR functions.
  5. Manage onboarding for new dependents and substitutes.
  6. Support onboarding with checklists, guides, and training modules.
  7. Serve as the primary contact for new hires, addressing questions and concerns.
  8. Collaborate with HR and department teams for seamless onboarding.
  9. Handle employment documents and maintain personnel files.
  10. Ensure work permit files comply with MoE requirements.
  11. Manage the ISG Recruitment mailbox, responding within 24 hours.
  12. Conduct offer and benefit consultations.
  13. Coordinate work permit applications and onboarding consultations.
  14. Set up employee profiles, accounts, and security badges.
  15. Prepare welcome packs for new employees.
  16. Support recruitment and onboarding training for hiring teams.
  17. Coordinate with HR and district departments for onboarding processes.
  18. Report on recruitment and onboarding success and issues.
  19. Maintain internal spreadsheets and databases accurately.
  20. Follow up on deliverables and tasks.
  21. Perform general administrative tasks and maintain office supplies.
  22. Submit help desk and maintenance requests.
  23. Maintain department absence reports and filing systems.
  24. Manage job postings on the ISG website and social media platforms.
  25. Oversee the Vector Solutions training portal, ensuring training completion.
Experience
  • Minimum of two years in an HR role.
  • Experience in support, coordination, facilitation, and customer service.
Skills
  • Excellent command of English (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Quick learner with adaptability.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
