Purpose:
To ensure smooth and consistent HR operations across all IKEA stores and the service office in KSA and Bahrain. This role plays a key part in executing HR processes in a compliant, efficient, and people-focused way, supporting store HR teams and contributing to an excellent co-worker experience.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and coordinate HR operations across all stores and the service office, ensuring compliance, consistency, and efficiency in execution.
- Oversee and support the implementation of HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, transfers, disciplinary actions, and employee file management.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi and Bahraini labor laws, including Saudization/Nitaqat, GOSI, MOL, and LMRA requirements.
- Act as the key user for HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors), ensuring accurate data entry and system integrity across the organization.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to store HR teams, ensuring alignment with IKEA’s global standards and local policies.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to HR operations.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing lean and efficient HR practices.
- Support readiness and execution of HR operations for new store openings and business expansion plans.
- Collaborate with other People & Culture functions (Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation & Benefits) to ensure a cohesive and effective HR support model.
- Promote and ensure a safe, inclusive, and values-driven work environment across all units.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of HR operations experience, preferably in a retail or multi-site environment.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and government regulations in both Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) and HR documentation processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with strong stakeholder management.
- Proficient in English and Arabic.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
