Job description

Under the guidance of the Assistant Human Resources Manager and the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Executive will support daily HR operations and contribute to strategic planning and execution of HR programs to enhance colleague engagement and support business objectives. Responsibilities include employee/labor relations, payroll administration, onboarding, compensation and benefits, recruitment, training, talent development, and succession planning.

  1. Provide effective HR services to colleagues.
  2. Coordinate travel requests and assist with leave bookings and travel arrangements.
  3. Maintain accurate and updated employee database.
  4. Prepare end-of-service transactions and liaise with finance for payments.
  5. Assist with bank account setup for new colleagues and follow up on related requests.
  6. Prepare official letters for colleagues.
  7. Organize HR events and activities throughout the year.
  8. Support employee grievance and disciplinary procedures.
  9. Assist with immigration documentation, including residence permits and work visas.
  10. Support government relations in tourist visa applications for entertainers.
  11. Ensure F&B staff have valid food handler certificates.
  12. Address issues related to hotel operations from various government departments.
  13. Liaise with embassies on recruitment and welfare issues.
  14. Maintain effective colleague relations and provide guidance on welfare matters.
  15. Review and update hotel policies to ensure legal compliance.
  16. Keep the HR team informed about changes in local laws.
  17. Support Colleague Welfare Committee events.
  18. Prepare HR reports as needed.
  19. Complete projects assigned by HR management.
  20. Be available for emergencies 24/7 as part of the HR team.
  21. Ensure compliance with FLS legislation and conduct oneself ethically and legally.
  22. Report accidents, hazards, and participate in safety procedures.
  23. Assist in recruitment by conducting preliminary interviews and managing job postings.
  24. Use My Recruit system to post vacancies and review applications.
  25. Ensure requisition forms are correctly filled and approved.
  26. Coordinate candidate shortlisting, interviews, and feedback.
  27. Implement Candidate Care processes to reflect company values.
  28. Prepare employment contracts and conduct reference checks.
  29. Follow up on employment documentation from candidates.

Self-Management:

  1. Adhere to hotel rules, grooming standards, and attendance policies.
  2. Participate in training and self-development activities.
  3. Understand health, hygiene, and safety policies and procedures.
  4. Familiarize with emergency protocols and report incidents promptly.
  5. Follow the company's Code of Conduct and embody its values.
  6. Perform tasks as directed to achieve business goals.
