The Position


Reporting to the Head of HR, KSA, the HR Business Partner will collaborate with the HR team and business leaders to deliver on the people agenda. This is a vital role in enabling the KSA growth strategy and talent acquisition priorities. The HRBP a full-time role based in Riyadh, KSA


The role will also work closely with stakeholders across all KSA levels, including Senior Leadership Team to ensure local HR function is aligned with business priorities delivers best-in-class HR services. The role holder will be expected to build strong relationship with the business and with Centre of Excellence within HR including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Compensation & Benefit, to ensure well-rounded HR management.


Main Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Support the Head of HR KSA in overseeing and executing the HR strategy for KSA.


  • Partner with people managers in executing of the people elements of the KSA and people plan by communicating defined initiatives with local HR, and ensuring geographical alignment with the KSA & MEA direction & vision.


  • Collaborate with HR leaders to execute strategic HR projects in KSA in line with KSA & MEA HR strategy. This includes supporting current initiatives in the region.


  • Work closely with the Cigna HR community and people managers to implement initiatives that drive business outcomes.


  • Partner with the business to drive forward HR innovation and the future of work agenda.,


  • Support the development and implementation of HR programmes and practices, including organisation development, talent development, reward programmes, performance management, inclusion initiatives, employee engagement and wellbeing.


  • Manage the year-end compensation review process in collaboration with HR leaders.


  • Support and coach people managers in resolving key staffing and employee relations issues.


  • Support Talent Acquisition Team to attract and hire best talent as per annual workforce plan.


  • Support Hiring Managers to ensure that new joiners receive efficient and timely induction process in line with Cigna guidelines and best practice.

Experience/Qualifications Required:


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner in a Global business line and a highly matrixed environment; experience in Healthcare or Insurance is preferred.


  • Experience in other HR Centre of Excellence (COE) functions is an advantage


  • Exposure to both local & global markets


  • Proven experience of leading projects across cross-functional groups and influencing multiple stakeholders


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration; a CIPD qualification is preferred.
