Job Purpose:

The Human Capital Director plays a strategic role in leading all human resources functions to ensure a high-performing workforce that aligns with the airport’s operational and business objectives. This role focuses on workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership development, compensation and benefits, performance management, and compliance with aviation and labor regulations. The Director is responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and safety while ensuring the company's human capital strategy supports the long-term success of the airport operations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a human capital strategy aligned with company mission, vision, and growth objectives.
  • Lead workforce planning and talent management initiatives to ensure a skilled and sustainable workforce.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support organizational transformation, digitalization, and automation in HR processes.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive human capital and OD strategy that aligns with airport operations and long-term business objectives.
  • Oversee organizational design, restructuring, and business transformation initiatives to enhance agility and efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and customer excellence in airport operations.
  • Design and execute effective recruitment and retention strategies to attract top talent in airport operations, security, maintenance, and administration.
  • Implement training programs to enhance technical skills, leadership competencies, and customer service in alignment with international aviation standards.
  • Lead the development of manpower plans aligned with airport projects, operational demands, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct workforce analysis to optimize staffing levels, minimize costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Lead employee relations and ensure fair and compliant labor practices, including grievance resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Develop and oversee employee experience programs to enhance engagement, motivation, and retention.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain talent while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Optimize HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and digital tools to enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g.,HRSD, ICAO, IATA, GACA).
  • Lead risk management initiatives related to human capital, including labor disputes, compliance audits, and ethical workplace practices.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field.

Certificate: HR professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, SPHR)

Language: English & Arabic

Computer Skills : Advanced proficiency in MS Office, HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, MenaHRMS)

Experience: +10 years of experience in HR leadership experience, preferably in the aviation, transportation, or large-scale operations sectors, minimum 5 years in managerial level.
