Overview

Job Description CCL Global are seeking two experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professionals to support Oil & Gas operations in Saudi Arabia. We have opportunities for general HSE specialists as well as H₂S-focused safety specialists, both playing a key role in ensuring the highest safety standards across our clients’ oil & gas operations.

Location: Dammam & remote sites

Type of Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor compliance with company HSE policies, Saudi regulations, and international best practices.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring corrective actions are identified and implemented.
  • Provide HSE training and toolbox talks to personnel, with a strong focus on hazard awareness and control.
  • Lead emergency response readiness, drills, and incident investigations.
  • For H₂S specialists: oversee H₂S detection, monitoring, and emergency systems (e.g., GDS, Airloop, BA Apparatus).
  • Act as a safety role model, promoting a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
HSE Specialist (Generalist)
  • Relevant HSE qualifications with NEBOSH (3+ years certified).
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an HSE role within oil & gas.
  • Experience with SAWCOD approval processes preferred (or eligible with 5+ years HSE experience in Saudi Arabia).
  • Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC strongly preferred.
  • Must hold a valid residence visa (Iqama) with a safety-related profession (mandatory).
H₂S Specialist
  • 5+ years’ HSE experience in Saudi Arabia, specifically in H₂S operations.
  • Certified in GDS, Airloop system, and BA Apparatus maintenance.
  • Must hold a valid residence visa (Iqama) (mandatory).
  • Previous oil & gas site exposure essential.
  • Rotation: 5 months on / 1 month off.
