Job SummaryAs
HSE Specialist, you will maintain positive relations with stakeholders and employees by providing ongoing HSE support, advice, training, and reporting. You will develop solutions and strategies to address key risks, communicate changes, and participate in audits to improve processes. Knowledge of HSE systems, including ISO14001 and ISO 45001, is essential. You will also support career development and self-improvement goals.
Responsibilities/Accountability & Authority- Ensure compliance with all HSE policies.
- Lead and host audits (internal, client, authorities).
- Achieve relevant KPIs and metrics.
- Develop health and safety plans and policies.
- Promote incident prevention.
- Maintain and report on HSE systems performance.
- Assess legislative requirements and implement policies.
- Record incidents and produce statistics.
- Assist in HSE training development and delivery.
- Collaborate with operational teams for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on legislation and standards.
- Advise on fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, machinery safety, and occupational diseases.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper documentation.
- Investigate incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Support safety training and campaigns.
- Manage waste and raw materials responsibly.
- Conduct internal audits per ISO standards and report findings.

Experience/Education/Skills- Graduate in Engineering or Diploma.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in oil and gas.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (IGC).
- Knowledge of ISO14001 and/or ISO 45001 systems.
- Experience in HSE management and incident investigation.
- Thorough knowledge of Saudi HSE legislation and standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Relevant HSE advisory experience in oil and gas industry.
