JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary :
Ensures the facility's implementation and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and the company's HSE Management System.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITY & AUTHORITY :
- Provide HSE guidance and technical support to management and other employees regarding HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with HSE-related legal requirements, including submission of required permits, documents, and paperwork, and maintaining required records and documents.
- Work with site management and other personnel in developing and implementing site-specific practices and procedures designed to create a culture of safety and injury prevention, including JHAs, Hazard and Risk Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments, etc.
- Document and investigate all work-related injuries and claims; determine root causes and work with appropriate personnel to develop and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Identify HSE training requirements and implement programs that ensure personnel receive required training.
- Lead and coordinate HSE audits and implement corrective actions.
- Provide accurate HSE data, trend analyses, and metrics as required.
- Coordinate Industrial Hygiene programs and schedule all testing, including employee health monitoring.
- Manage the facility's emergency preparedness and response team and procedures.
- Assist in developing and implementing site-specific practices and procedures.
- Liaise with the Corporate HSE Team to ensure a common system and sharing of Best Management Practices (BMPs).
- Provide guidance to ensure the regulatory compliance of the facility's waste management program.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / SKILL-SET REQUIRED :
- BS degree in occupational safety, environmental sciences, or engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or the oil and gas industry
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- NEBOSH IGC certification
- Saudi OSH Registration
