JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Summary:Ensures the facility's implementation and compliance to the applicable regulatory requirements and to the company's HSE Management System.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITY & AUTHORITY:- Provide HSE guidance and technical support to management and other employees regarding HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with HSE-related legal requirements, including submission of required permits, documents, and paperwork and maintaining required records and documents.
- Work with site management and other personnel in the development and implementation of site specific practices and procedures designed to create a culture of safety and injury prevention, including JHA's, Hazard and Risk Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments, etc.
- Document and investigate all work-related injuries and claims; determine root cause(s) and work with appropriate personnel to develop and implement corrective actions designed to prevent reoccurrence.
- Identify HSE training requirements and implement programs that ensure personnel are receiving required training.
- Lead and coordinate in HSE audits and resulting corrective actions.
- Provide accurate HSE data, trend analyses, and associated metrics as required.
- Co-ordinate Industrial Hygiene program and schedule all testing as required, including employee health monitoring.
- Manage the facility's emergency preparedness and response team and procedures.
- Assist in development/implementation of site-specific practices and procedures.
- Liaise with Corporate HSE Team to ensure common system and sharing of NOV Best Management Practices (BMPs).
- Provide guidance in ensuring the regulatory compliance of the facility waste management program.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:- BS degree in occupational safety or environmental sciences or engineering.
- 1 to 3 years working experience in manufacturing or oil and gas industry.
- Good communication skills - verbal and written in English and Arabic.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Sharepoint.
- NEBOSH IGC.
- Saudi OSH Registered.
