Job summary

An established industry player seeks a dedicated HSE professional to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance on-site. In this role, you will implement and enforce HSE policies, conduct safety inspections, and provide essential training to ensure a safe working environment. You'll also investigate incidents and liaise with regulatory authorities to uphold safety standards. Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in construction or engineering.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulations on-site.

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Provide safety training to employees and contractors on best practices and safety procedures.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare reports with recommendations for improvements.

Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety measures.

Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure that the project adheres to all HSE laws.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in construction or engineering industries.

In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, including Saudi Arabia-specific laws.

Strong communication, training, and problem-solving skills.

HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are a plus.

Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
