They play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential hazards and risks, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, and promoting a culture of safety and health on the construction site.

Responsibilities :

• Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures for the construction site
• Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and risks to health and safety
• Identifying and reporting on health and safety performance indicators to management
• Investigating and reporting on accidents, incidents, and near-misses
• Providing training and education to workers on health and safety procedures and practices
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations
• Liaising with regulatory bodies and external auditors to ensure compliance and certification
• Conducting risk assessments and developing risk management strategies
• Developing and maintaining emergency response plans and procedures
