Role and Responsibilities:
- Safety Objectives:Create and track safety-related objectives, metrics, and goals for the organization.
- Safety Code Coordination:Coordinate with safety personnel at the district level to establish a company-wide safety code.
- Information Relay:Communicate vital information and instructions quickly and accurately between management, outside safety agencies, and employees.
- HSE Audits:Conduct HSE/Safety audits in cooperation with the division to ensure compliance with applicable organizational, national, and international standards and legislation related to EHSS.
- Review Meetings:Prepare division review meetings to evaluate adherence to HSE processes.
- Administrative Duties:Complete administrative tasks, including filling out safety reports and compiling information about accidents to prevent similar incidents in the future.
- Workshops and Drills:Conduct safety workshops and fire/emergency drills regularly.
- Policy Development:Develop Seder HSE Policies, EHSS Management System, and related procedures, including project HSE requirements and Risk Register matrix as per ISO guidelines.
- Safety Audits:Lead and conduct Safety Audits and Field Inspection Reports (FIR) as per HSE charter.
- Training Programs:Lead the Safety Training program and employee safety orientation.
- Incident Review:Review and investigate HSE incidents prior to issuing reports.
- Personnel Qualification:Review and approve HSE personnel qualifications as per contract requirements.
- Safety Systems:Create safety systems for all employees to follow to prevent injuries.
- Documentation:Prepare and review HIRA/JSA/PTW as per client requirements.
- Performance Monitoring:Monitor EHS performance, statistics, and Emergency Action Plans.
Skills
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Decision-making capability with a high level of integrity, judgment, and responsibility.
- Knowledge of electrical safety, equipment lockout, machine safeguarding, and industrial machinery operations.
- Ability to spot potential hazards, identify safety concerns, and recognize practices that could harm the environment.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor of Science or equivalent (Diploma holders are welcome).
- Certifications:NEBOSH Level 3 / ISO 45001 certification.
- Experience:Minimum 7 years of experience in EHS Management for degree holders.
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience in EHS Management for diploma holders.
