JASARA PMC - Strategic Initiative Manager

JASARA PMC, a leading construction and project management company, is seeking a Strategic Initiative Manager to join their team. Working under the direction of the XCS Assurance Sr. Manager for Systems Development and Reporting, the Strategic Initiatives Manager will collaborate with XCS Assurance teams to identify and implement initiatives that enhance program delivery. The role involves advising on organizational strategic initiatives, proposal development, recommending solutions, and supporting their implementation. The manager will foster internal and external partnerships, responding to organizational objectives and priorities. Responsibilities include planning, implementation, and monitoring of organizational and community partnership projects to ensure efficient and effective outcomes.

The Strategic Initiative Manager will provide guidance and support in implementing strategic initiatives and organizational improvements within XCS Assurance's functional areas of Quality, Health, Safety, Welfare, Environment, and Sustainability, as well as XDS Project Delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and implementation of XCS Assurance initiatives and practices.
• Consulting with XCS Functional Leads and XDS teams to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Developing communication strategies for various stakeholders regarding company initiatives.
• Advising on draft policies and procedures, supporting updates to Program Standards.
• Participating in Assurance Reviews and Governance Activities as required.
• Performing additional responsibilities related to XCS Assurance as appropriate.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in construction or a similar industry, including managerial roles.
• Knowledge of organizational practices, processes, and current technology. Business Management experience with a preference for knowledge in Health, Safety, and Environment Management.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders, including private sector, education, community groups, and government representatives.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with a good understanding of industry practices and regulations.
• Ability to drive excellence in health and safety, environment and sustainability, quality, and process improvement.
• Effective problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex tasks.
• Thorough knowledge of current technology and software capabilities.
• Ability to multitask, with extreme attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to conduct focused briefings at all management levels.
