A leading construction firm is seeking an HSE Manager to ensure safe working conditions and compliance with environmental standards. The successful candidate will develop and oversee HSE policies, conduct audits, and lead incident investigations. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, NEBOSH certification, and extensive experience in HSE management within the GCC region.
The HSE Manager supports the Executive Director, Project Director and/or Project Manager to establish safe working conditions and prevent adverse environmental situations. Oversees and ensures HSE programs are in compliance with the state, client and organizational regulations applicable and to design, implement, evaluate and improve policies and procedures to ensure high performance standards, environment, safe working conditions and client satisfaction. HSE Manager is considered as accident prevention manager in site.
Knowledge in Health, safety and Environmental management principles and processes. Knowledge in risk assessment and management principles and processes. Knowledge in construction practices across State of Qatar. Knowledge in ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001. Knowledge of international and local HSE legislation (Legal and other Requirement). Knowledge in integrated management system. Strong experience in working with third party contractors to create a successful HSE programme.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Level 6 Diploma in OHS
Diploma in NEBOSH or Lead Auditor Certificates for ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 & ISO22301
