Job Description

You will monitor all HSE requirements on site for a large multicultural workforce delivering a Civil Engineering Mega Project, part of the largest construction undertaking in the world.

You will be responsible for:

1. Inspecting project sites to evaluate ongoing work conditions to guarantee compliance.
2. Liaising with third parties such as government-employed consultants to evaluate construction site processes.
3. Working with project management teams and field workers to implement and devise solutions to safety-related issues.
4. Reviewing blueprint designs for disposal systems, evacuation plans, lighting, and ventilation to ensure safety and health standards.
5. Collaborating with senior management to create emergency procedures plans.
6. Training company employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
7. Disciplining subcontractors and employees who fail to comply with safety standards.
8. Representing the company in meetings with government bodies and consultants on workplace health and safety issues.
9. Interacting with licensed bodies for updates on legal regulations and initiatives regarding safety and environmental issues.

Qualifications

BSc or MSc in Occupational Health & Safety, NEBOSH in Construction, Diploma of Risk & Security Management, Lead Auditor (Quality, Safety & Environmental Systems), Lead ICAM Investigator & Lead Accident Investigator, Certified Drug & Alcohol Sample Collector, 10 years managerial experience in a similar role, experience working in KSA or UAE.
