Qualifications

Job Description

You will monitor all HSE requirements on site, for a large multicultural workforce which will be delivering a Civil Engineering Mega Project, part of the largest construction undertaking in the World!

You will be responsible for:

  1. Inspecting project sites to evaluate ongoing work conditions to guarantee compliance
  2. Liaising with 3rd parties such as government-employed Consultants to evaluate the process of construction sites
  3. Working with project management teams and field workers to implement and devise solutions to safety-related issues on project sites
  4. Reviewing blueprint designs for disposal systems, evacuation plans, lighting, and ventilation to ensure minimum or no danger to the safety or health of the site guests or workers
  5. Working with senior management to create plans for emergency procedures
  6. Training company employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures
  7. Disciplining subcontractors and employees who fail to comply with minimum safety standards
  8. Representing the construction company in meetings with government bodies and Consultants on issues regarding workplace health and safety
  9. Interacting with licensed bodies for regular updates on legal regulations and program initiatives on workplace safety and environmental issues.
Qualifications
  1. BSc or MSc in Occupational Health & Safety
  2. NEBOSH in Construction
  3. Diploma of Risk & Security Management
  4. Lead Auditor - [Quality, Safety & Environmental Systems]
  5. Lead ICAM Investigator & Lead Accident Investigator
  6. Certified Drug & Alcohol Sample Collector
  7. 10 years Managerial experience in a similar role
  8. Experience working in KSA or UAE
