Job description

Section B: Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities

  • Maintain established Environment, Health, and Safety policies and standards aligned with relevant international/national standards.
  • Review the current Environment, Health, and Safety management system and suggest improvements.
  • Facilitate external third-party audits and initiate corrective & preventive actions.
  • Review the accuracy of EHS Risk Assessments.
  • Implement relevant EHS standards and programs.
  • Control EHS documents & records.
  • Maintain the EHS management system.
  • Implement and oversee EHS training plans and reports.
  • Manage internal EHS audit plans and reports.
  • Conduct and lead internal audits related to the EHS system.
  • Achieve departmental KPIs.
  • Provide EHS support as needed.

  • Engineering or technical background, preferably with a formal bachelor’s degree.
  • Technical and operational experience.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS principles.
  • Familiarity with international and national standards.

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with others.
  • Self-motivated with decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to handle human resource issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and other planning software.
Section D: EHS Responsibilities (Environment, Health, and Safety)

All employees/operatives will:

  • Implement the Company EHS policy to prevent injuries, damage, or loss.
  • Follow risk assessment controls.
  • Use equipment properly and not misuse it.
  • Maintain work equipment, including daily maintenance where appropriate.
  • Wear personal protective equipment as per site risk assessments and rules.
  • Attend training to perform duties safely.
  • Comply with site-specific and company-wide safety and environmental rules.
  • Report injuries, unsafe acts, or conditions.
  • Support EHS policies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
