Job Description

SNC Lavalin is seeking a Saudi national graduate for an HSE role based in Riyadh.

Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to and implement SNC Lavalin's internal HSE management system requirements and procedures for the site team.
  2. Ensure project HSE requirements are followed and implemented by the SNC team.
  3. Monitor staff compliance with safety standards and procedures; report violations to the Project Manager.
  4. Assess and report on HSE compliance of Contractors and Subcontractors according to contractual and legal standards.
  5. Highlight critical safety issues to SNC Lavalin Project Manager promptly.
  6. Conduct safety training sessions for WSA staff.
  7. Perform regular site HSE tours with Contractor HSE staff and document findings.
  8. Investigate accidents and incidents involving SNC Lavalin staff.
  9. Compile reports and statistics on safety incidents.
  10. Prepare safety reports regularly for the Employer and Project Manager.
  11. Implement safety measures and provide training for SNC engineers and inspectors.
  12. Coordinate and mentor safety activities for the SNC team.
  13. Conduct inductions for new site staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety; IOSH or NEBOSH diploma is advantageous.
  • GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • Up to two years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
  • Multitasking ability and meeting tight deadlines.
