Job description

JASARA PMC is seeking a detail-oriented and committed HSE Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  2. Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
  3. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop preventive measures
  4. Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards
  5. Deliver safety training and educational programs for employees and subcontractors
  6. Maintain clear and accurate records of safety-related documentation, reports, and statistics
  7. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in HSE management

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
  2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in infrastructure projects
  3. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, policies, and best practices
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  5. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team environment
  7. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are highly desirable
