The HSE Coordinator will be instrumental in planning, implementing, and monitoring HSE programs and practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in accordance with local and international regulations.
  • Conduct safety training for employees to promote compliance with HSE standards.
  • Carry out regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Investigate and report on incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with management to establish and maintain emergency response plans.
  • Stay current with changes in HSE regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness among all personnel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HSE roles, preferably within the Oil & Energy sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and management systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all levels of staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other HSE management software.
  • Possession of relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently, with strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
