HS Services Design & Planning Section Manager

Job Purpose
Jobs at this level are responsible for managing the design, planning, and development of multi-cloud and hyper-scaler services, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs, and organizational goals. This involves conducting market research, evaluating service concepts, and managing a service portfolio that delivers competitive advantages. The role holder also focuses on building partnerships and alliances with key stakeholders to enhance the service offering. Additionally, this role requires the creation and management of a comprehensive service roadmap, ensuring successful execution in line with strategic objectives. The role holder shall carry out their duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.
Job Responsibility
Managerial Responsibilities
Participates in the development and implementation of the Core Cloud Services plans, in line with the corporate objectives.
Directs and manages the HS Services Design & Planning mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
Interprets and implements change in HS Services Design & Planning, providing guidance and support, necessary for continuous improvement.
Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards in HS Services Design & Planning.
Core Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs within multi-cloud and hyper-scaler services including hyper-scaler cloud services, large cloud software providers, and advanced cloud solutions.
Analyze the competitive landscape to identify gaps and opportunities for new multi-cloud and hyper-scaler services.
Evaluate potential multi-cloud and hyper-scaler services for commercialization based on market demand, technological feasibility, and strategic alignment.
Develop a pipeline of prioritized service concepts, ensuring they meet customer requirements and offer competitive advantages.
Identify potential solutions that can be implemented on top of current cloud offerings to enable new functionalities.
Develop and maintain the multi-cloud and hyper-scaler services portfolio, aligning with organizational goals and market trends.
Define criteria for service inclusion, prioritization, and lifecycle management.
Create and manage a comprehensive service roadmap, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
Identify potential partners, including technology vendors, service providers, and strategic alliances, to enhance the service portfolio.
Evaluate partners based on their capabilities, value proposition, and alignment with organizational goals.
Develop and implement a partner engagement strategy, outlining the process for partner selection, onboarding, and collaboration.
Negotiate partnership agreements, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, value proposition, and business model in alignment with S&P
Establish clear value propositions for white-label and sell-through opportunities, ensuring they align with market demand and EBU s strategy.
Develop strategic collaboration frameworks to outline the mutual benefits, objectives, and expected outcomes of partnerships in alignment with S&P
Create a structured engagement process to initiate and manage discussions with potential partners.
People Management Responsibilities
Defines goals and key performance indicators for members of the team and ensures effective application of the performance management process.
Directs planning and selection of manpower in the HS Services Design & Planning function, in line with the business and operational plans.
Ensures a high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing ongoing feedback and coaching to team members within HS Services Design & Planning.
Performs other responsibilities and tasks related to the job as directed by line manager
