We are seeking a highly skilled HRIS Benefits Manager who will oversee the administration, optimization, and reporting of our benefits programs with a strong emphasis on Dayforce HRIS functionality. This role will serve as the primary power user and subject matter expert for Dayforce, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and system efficiency across all benefits processes. This position is on-site at our Medina, Ohio, location.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Dayforce HRIS system Administrator, managing system configurations, workflows, and reporting related to benefits and HR data.
- Own and maintain benefits plan setup, open enrollment, life event processing, and vendor integrations in Dayforce.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate benefits administration and data flow.
- Lead the annual benefits renewal, open enrollment, and compliance reporting (ACA, 5500s, EEO, etc.) processes.
- Identify and implement system enhancements and process improvements to maximize Dayforce capabilities.
- Develop and deliver training for HR and end-users on Dayforce benefits functionality.
- Ensure data integrity through regular audits, reconciliations, and system maintenance.
- Provide analytics and dashboards to support HR and executive leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS/benefits administration, with at least 3 years as a Dayforce HRIS system administrator managing complex configurations and reporting.
- Strong understanding of U.S. benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, wellness).
- Advanced skills in report writing, data analysis, and dashboard creation within Dayforce.
- Demonstrated ability to manage system integrations, troubleshoot, and partner with technical teams and vendors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dayforce certifications (HR, Benefits, Payroll, Power BI or Reporting modules).
- Experience supporting multi-state or unionized employee populations.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements (ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA).
Compensation
$90,000 - $110,000 yearly
