Job Description

Role Overview
The HR Advisor is part of the People Services organization and supports People Leaders in managing their teams effectively and efficiently by addressing tactical people and talent needs. The Advisor understands business direction and proactively advises on potential people issues and challenges. Additionally, the HR Advisor serves as a single point of contact for Managers on topics that cannot be covered by MSS or through the People Services Hub. This role focuses on a specific region or a large country and requires an experienced HR professional.

High Level and Key Responsibilities

Vision, Strategy, Leadership

  • Provide proactive and tactical advice and solutions to business leaders and managers on organizational and talent matters (not covered by MSS/Hub).
  • Understand the business direction within the region and translate relevant insights and local requirements to People Services, Business HR, and CoEs, acting as a link between global and local initiatives.
  • Coach and develop managers regionally in their role as people leaders, especially regarding key HR events such as performance reviews.
  • Provide advice on team development to prevent future people issues.
  • Act as a local HR ambassador by role modeling inclusive behavior towards employees and managers.

Operational Excellence

  • Resolve issues not covered by MSS or Tier 1, focusing on enhancing Employee Experience.
  • Collaborate with CoEs and colleagues within People Services to improve HR policies and programs based on local business needs.
  • Support the deployment of people solutions in partnership with HR BP and CoE.
  • Drive adoption of HR Service Delivery within the business.
  • Provide data, tools, and solutions for effective team management.

Continuous Improvement

  • Promote HR programs and initiatives within the region.
  • Coordinate with Regional and Global People Services Advisors to identify improvement opportunities and ensure alignment across regions.
  • Work with CoEs on business cases, change management, and communication plans for large-scale change programs.
