As a key member of this journey, our HR Partners deeply care about the employee experience, proactively listening to Builder sentiment and serving as a connector between Builders, managers, and HRBPs.

This is an on-site role based in the Data Centers it supports 100% of the time, with weekly travel to other site locations within the cluster.

Key job responsibilities

The Data Center Operations Site HR Partner in our Builder Experience Team (BeXT) focuses on the Builder experience. You will collaborate with Data Center Operations leaders, HRBPs, and partner teams to innovate, implement, and deploy HR strategies across the cluster of Data Centers you support. This includes talent and performance management, compensation, employee relations, and other HR functions. The role emphasizes leveraging Builder listening mechanisms to proactively monitor Builder sentiment trends, providing regular updates and recommended actions to site leadership and HR Business Partners. You will need a flexible skill set, including HR expertise, consulting skills, and influence, to manage multiple scenarios and connect sentiment trends to broader operational goals.

A day in the life

As a Data Center Site HR Partner, your day will likely include:

  • Using Builder sentiment data to advocate for Builders’ needs, ensuring they feel engaged and valued.
  • Partnering with leaders at various levels to develop strategies focused on the Builder experience.
  • Conducting weekly Gemba Go See (GGS) walks to engage with Builders.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams like HRBPs, Employee Relations, and Labor Relations.
  • Applying HR fundamentals to solve problems and influence diverse populations.
  • Working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Coaching and developing site leadership with empathy and sound judgment.
  • Promoting an inclusive environment for all Builders.
  • Managing ambiguity, handling escalations, and supporting Builder queries with discretion.
  • Encouraging adoption of technology and self-service tools.
  • Influencing multiple organizational levels, from Builders to senior leaders.
  • Conducting workplace investigations collaboratively.
  • Leading site-specific people projects in partnership with leadership.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant HR Generalist experience
