Job description

Job Purpose:

The HR Operations Officer is responsible for providing on-site human resources support for the Qiddiyah project, including implementation of HR policies, handling employee queries, and maintaining documentation and compliance. The role plays a key part in ensuring smooth HR operations and employee relations at the project site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement, and evaluate HR policies, procedures, and organizational structures at the project site.
  • Respond to staff inquiries related to HR processes, policies, and administrative matters.
  • Support employee onboarding, orientation, and professional development initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain effective public and employee relations on-site.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department including maintaining employee records, files, and documentation.
  • Process HR-related transactions such as leave, attendance, site access, and personnel updates.
  • Coordinate with head office HR on payroll inputs, employee status changes, and contract management.
  • Ensure HR compliance with labor laws and Qiddiyah project-specific requirements.
  • Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of HR operations experience, preferably in a construction or project-based environment.
  • Previous site-based HR experience in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.

Skills

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Saudi labor law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
