Daikin Middle East & Africa (DAME) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and the world's biggest developer, producer, and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.

DAME serves as Daikin’s regional headquarters for the Middle East and Africa, with main offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Cairo (Egypt), Riyadh and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Qatar, along with 2 production plants, 2 sales subsidiaries, and an extensive network of independent distributors and dealers across the MEA region.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage SuccessFactors / HRMS and Envision systems
  • Conduct HR analytics and exit interviews for leavers
  • Assist in managing low performance, terminations, promotions, and talent reviews
  • Develop and oversee college recruitment, internship, graduate trainee programs, and career fairs
  • Support employee wellbeing programs
  • Assist in managing payroll processes, including data collection, calculation, and discrepancy resolution
  • Oversee scheduling and daily workflow of the HR department staff
  • Participate in employee environment initiatives (Health & Safety, office hygiene, engagement)
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs
  • Collaborate with HR team to design, develop, and implement organizational development programs
  • Facilitate the hiring process, including interviews, assessments, and job offers
  • Handle employment-related queries from applicants, employees, and managers, escalating sensitive matters as needed
  • Participate in disciplinary, termination, and investigation meetings as requested
  • Manage relationships with universities, recruitment agencies, and event organizers to attract high-caliber candidates
  • Assist in drafting human capital policies, guidelines, employee handbook, and job descriptions
  • Support performance evaluations and HR system development
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the HR manager
