Overview

The HR Director is a strategic leadership position responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support organizational objectives. This role leads the HR team and oversees all human resources functions including workforce planning, annual budgeting, recruitment, training and development, performance management, and compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Workforce Planning and Budgeting

  • Lead strategic workforce planning processes in coordination with various departments to identify current and future talent needs
  • Prepare and manage the annual HR budget, including recruitment costs, compensation, training, and development expenses
  • Develop proactive plans to address skill gaps and future staffing requirements
  • Analyze HR data to forecast future costs and needs, providing strategic recommendations to senior management

Recruitment and Talent Management

  • Design and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract exceptional talent
  • Oversee selection and hiring processes, ensuring best practices are followed
  • Develop talent retention programs and succession planning
  • Build relationships with external recruitment sources and employment networks to ensure access to the best talent

Employee Training and Development

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training and development plans that meet both organizational and employee needs
  • Oversee training program design and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Lead leadership development programs and succession planning
  • Coordinate with different departments to identify specific training needs for each division

Performance Management and Compensation

  • Design and implement a comprehensive performance management system linking organizational goals with employee performance
  • Develop clear performance criteria and indicators in coordination with department managers
  • Create and manage a bonus and rewards system directly linked to performance evaluation results
  • Ensure fairness and transparency in performance evaluation processes, bonuses, and promotions

Departmental Coordination

  • Build strategic relationships with department leaders to understand their needs and provide necessary support
  • Collaborate with departments to develop HR action plans that support their objectives
  • Provide consultation to managers on various HR issues
  • Lead periodic meetings with departments to review recruitment plans, training, and performance evaluations

Compliance and Policies

  • Ensure organizational compliance with all labor laws and relevant regulations
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations and effectively address workplace issues
  • Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives in the workplace

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a managerial position
  • In-depth experience in workforce planning, budget preparation, and financial analysis
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing performance evaluation systems and linking bonuses to performance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and relevant regulations
  • Experience in leading transformation projects and developing HR strategies
  • Deep understanding of best practices in recruitment, training, and talent management
