A leading logistics technology company in Jeddah seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to support Saudi operations. The role demands expertise in Saudi labour law and a proven track record in managing HR functions. Qualifications

About the Role:

The HRBP will partner with Trella’s central Centers of Excellence for policy and tooling but will operate as the single‑threaded owner of People operations on the ground.

Act as the strategic advisor and hands‑on HR owner for our Saudi business: deliver the right talent at the right cost, foster a high‑performance culture, and ensure flawless compliance with Saudi labour law, Nitaqat, Qiwa, WPS, and GOSI.

What You'll Do:

  • Embedwith the Saudi leadership team, turning the market P&L and OKRs into actionable people plans
  • Coach managers on organization design, workforce planning, and succession.
  • Hit Nitaqat targets; maintain agreedor higher rating by filing timely monthly reports via Qiwa
  • Draft, issue, and e‑sign employment contracts on Qiwa; register salaries on Mudad/WPS
  • Manage grievances, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations—calculating End‑of‑Service Benefits (EOSB) per Article84
  • Ensure 100% GOSI enrollment and monthly payment accuracy
  • Identify high‑potential talent and craft Individual Development Plans; maintain succession slates for all critical roles
  • Benchmark pay bands across GCC logistics tech; recommend adjustments that preserve margin
  • Oversee payroll inputs, overtime compliance, expat allowances, medical insurance renewal
  • Design onboarding and compliance programme (anti‑harassment, HSE)
  • Leverage HRDF initiatives to up skill Saudi talent and offset training costs
  • Lead engagement surveys; co‑create action plans with managers
  • Drive Saudi‑specific culture moments (Ramadan hours, National Day events, community service)
  • Provide weekly dashboards on Saudisation%, attrition, overtime cost, visa pipeline, etc.
  • Present insights to the Saudi GM and global People leadership; flag risks early
  • Liaise with Jawazat, MOL, and Mudad for block-visa requests, Iqama renewals, and medicals
  • Track policy shifts (e.g., Kafala reforms) and translate them into Trella policy updates
  • Oversee laptop and asset management – procurement, allocation, refurbishment, and end‑of‑life disposal
  • Manage office leases, renewals, utilities, and vendor contracts; partner with Finance on cost optimisation
  • Coordinate employee travel, ticketing, hotel bookings, and per‑diem approvals in line with Trella’s travel policy
  • Own the onboarding/off-boarding checklist for assets, badges, and workspace logistics.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s in HR, Business, or related field (MBA/HRM certification a plus)
  • 8+years’ HR experience, with at least 4years as an HRBP supporting Saudi operations
  • Expert knowledge of Saudi Labour Law, Nitaqat, Qiwa, WPS, GOSI, and EOSB calculations
  • Proven track record in high‑growth tech or logistics environments
  • Fluent Arabic & English; strong Excel/HRIS (Workday, BambooHR, or SAP) skills
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to link People metrics to financial outcomes
