HR Business Partner

This HR Business Partner role provides full HR support to the new Varian Medical Systems Saudi Arabia entity. This is a very exciting opportunity to build a new organization in a growing market. The individual will work closely with the Managing Director, Saudi Arabia on all HR related matters, including:

1. Establishing the VMS Arabia legal entity in all HR related matters
2. Monitoring labor law requirements and ensuring full compliance for all laws and regulation
3. Recruiting for all functions for Business Units
4. Assuming responsibility for payroll processing and employee administration related to employment visas, Iqama, and works permit
5. Maintaining HRIS data in SAP-HR and local HRIS if required
6. Securing HR-related compliance with regard to SaudiFDA, Data privacy and Company Q&A Processes
7. Establishing HR processes and procedures under Saudi Labor Law such as employee handbook, expense policies etc and adapting company policies to local requirements
8. Working closely with Ministry of Labor on GOSI Insurance Topics
9. Rolling out company programs such as salary planning, succession planning, goal cascading, etc. to the client group
10. Facilitating group meetings such as manager assimilations and team building
11. Coaching and providing training to managers and employees
12. Working independently on a broad range of issues

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business Administration with focus on Human Resources Management
2. Minimum 6-8 years’ experience HR Experience in Saudi Arabia
3. Saudi National
4. Strong background in all employee life cycle processes like recruiting, compensation, performance management
5. Strong knowledge in local labor law
6. Experience in compliance and regulation in HR related matters
7. Experience in establishing new HR processes, procedures and standards for new entities
8. Experience in working in an industrial environment
9. Experience in matrix functional organizations and work with different stakeholders across the globe
10. Proficient in utilizing MS Office business tools
11. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP software desired
