Job description

  • Supervise housekeeping staff and oversee daily cleaning schedules for all areas, including but not limited to accommodations, kitchens, dining halls, restrooms, corridors, and office spaces.
  • Ensure all areas meet hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with HACCP and other food safety requirements.
  • Monitor cleaning quality through routine inspections and corrective action plans when standards are not met.
  • Allocate tasks to housekeeping personnel and ensure timely completion of duties, particularly during peak operations or special events.
  • Train new and existing housekeeping staff on safety procedures, proper equipment use, and chemical handling.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, laundry, and catering teams to ensure seamless operations across all services.
  • Track and manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, submitting requests for replenishment as required.
  • Prepare reports on housekeeping performance, issues, and maintenance needs for management review.
  • Ensure proper disposal of waste, recycling, and adherence to environmental and hygiene protocols.

Skills

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role, ideally in an industrial or remote-site catering environment..
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of hygiene standards and cleaning protocols in food-related environments.
