House Keeping Manager (Western Nationality)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager of Western nationality (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU AREN'T FROM A WESTERN BACKGROUND-THIS IS THE CLIENT'S REQUIREMENT) to oversee our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will possess a BICS (British Institute of Cleaning Science) certificate and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision: Lead and manage the housekeeping team, ensuring effective training, performance evaluation, and motivation.
2. Quality Control: Implement and monitor cleaning standards, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and hygiene regulations.
3. Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
4. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating purchasing and reordering as needed.
5. Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services, providing exceptional customer service.
6. Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and control for the housekeeping department, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
7. Health and Safety: Ensure all housekeeping practices adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for staff.

Qualifications:

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
2. Certification: BICS certificate is required.
