Job description

The Receptionist is responsible for providing high-quality service to guests/clients at the Yacht Club. The role involves managing the Yacht Club's front desk, welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner, and addressing customer complaints. The receptionist provides information about facilities, programs, and services, and must possess excellent communication skills and social intelligence to handle difficult situations positively. Reliability and customer-oriented attitude are essential to ensure guest satisfaction and enjoyable stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome members and guests in a presentable manner.
  2. Review arrival lists and records.
  3. Attend to all members and guests' needs.
  4. Respond to inquiries promptly.
  5. Assist staff in preparing welcome folders for members.
  6. Provide information about different areas of the Yacht Club.
  7. Promote the services offered by the Yacht Club.
  8. Anticipate members' needs and ensure satisfaction.
  9. Build long-term relationships with members.
  10. Assist with tasks such as meeting room reservations and restaurant bookings.
  11. Address grievances and inform the Guest Relations Manager as needed.
  12. Record necessary data daily in designated registers.
  13. Comply with health and safety standards (OSHS).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Guest Relations Officer, Hotel Manager, or similar role.
  • Professional certification in Hotel Management is preferred.
