We are seeking an INSTRUMENTATION DEPARTMENT MANAGER with 15 years of expertise. The candidate should manage and coordinate all instrumentation and automation department by providing leadership, expertise, and direction. The candidate should ensure the level of competencies and capabilities (tools, procedures, organization, and resources) of all departments.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of the Engineering teams, including recruitment of qualified individuals, monitoring of staff performance, and management of resources as well as allocation of resources to projects and proposals. Further, maintaining and developing the proficiency of Department personnel in terms of working methods.
Technical training and career planning of individuals with the support of P&C.
Defines the orientations, objectives, and budget of the department following the company guidelines.
Defines the organization of the discipline, processes, and methods of work within the center engineering policy and ensures their implementation.
Represents the discipline towards management, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and projects.
Ensures the implementation of QHSE policies and programs in engineering solutions and promotes a QHSE culture and values in the departments.
Ensures Department adheres to financial and staff utilization budgets and targets.
Provides appropriate input to proposals and pre-qualifications.
Responsible for final review of man/hours, MTO quantities, and possibly cost estimate on proposals.
Represents discipline towards management and maintains contact with client organizations, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and projects.
Responsible for technical assurance of projects.
Establishes the Department/Division strategy in conjunction with Senior Management in accordance with technology and business development initiatives.
Ensures the coordination of the different engineering disciplines.
Keeps Senior Management informed of operational issues and ensures appropriate remedial or mitigation plans are identified and implemented to resolve challenges.
Establishes the structure of the Department to ensure efficient and effective management of IHR and distribution of workload (subcontracting) and manpower, capacity planning, tools development.
Supports, initiates, implements, and meets the targets of the organization's ESG scorecard and Digital Initiatives.
Ensures all measures to support senior management in achieving financial performance of the center.
Qualifications:
Master Engineering degree
Familiarity with all technical aspects of the discipline
Previous experience in leading a discipline including the role of project discipline lead
Construction experience
Management and leadership skills
Interpersonal and influential skills
Project management experience
15 years of experience in Oil and Gas project management
Matured experience in coordinating Saudi Aramco Projects and wide knowledge of Saudi Aramco specifications and work processes
Practical experience in coordinating with Saudi Government Authorities and other relevant entities
Strong background in collaborating with operational facilities, Saudi Aramco Departments, Third Parties, and Joint Ventures
