Title: Heavy Equipment Maintenance Supervisor (Crane, Forklift, etc.)
- Assists the Superintendent by providing input to identify key success factors, procurement timelines, and establishing work breakdown structures.
- Provides leadership to create organizational structures and processes necessary for executing services, and is responsible for equipment services, quality, subcontractor performance, and construction costs.
- Evaluates equipment service execution for compliance with contracts, design data, schedule, budgets, and quality standards; advises the project team on status, issues, impacts, risks, and cost factors affecting the scope.
- Owns the equipment craft schedule and develops short-term look-ahead schedules for the Foreman, aligned with the execution plan.
- Monitors costs and man-hours for installation, and develops requirements for staff, facilities, equipment, and tools.
- Typically requires at least 5 years of experience in the building construction industry, with extensive craft experience.
- Handles equipment dispatching according to approved PTW and upon orders from the Support Services Superintendent, based on urgent requests.
- Checks the Daily Checklist Report submitted by equipment operators for issues.
- Ensures proper utilization and handling of all heavy equipment, including cranes, forklifts, manlifts, vacuum trucks, and boom trucks, checking their condition before use.
- Monitors job status as per PTW and ensures equipment requests are closed within the time frame.
