Role Purpose
To transport passengers or goods safely to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner using light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles or equipment.
Key Accountabilities
Operational Direction
• Operate the assigned vehicle safely to pick up or drop off employees or transport goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations to foster a positive reputation and strengthen relationships.
• Follow traffic rules, maintain the vehicle's condition, and ensure safety and comfort during transportation to prevent accidents, injuries, and fatalities.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, or customers to provide updates on transportation status and address issues or changes in plans.
• Deliver important documents to the required destination, ensuring all deliveries are signed for and received by the correct recipient.
• Ensure timely arrival and departure as per the schedule to meet delivery or pickup deadlines, maintaining smooth and organized services.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
• Follow all relevant PMV processes, policies, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Demonstrate compliance with organizational values and ethics to support a value-driven culture.
Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, considering global standards, productivity, and cost reduction.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Management
• Conduct all activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner in compliance with internal policies and guidelines.
Reporting
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate reports to meet PMV requirements, policies, and quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
• High School/Vocational Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driving License.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Language: English; Arabic preferred.
