Job Title: Executive – Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE)

Business Unit: AG Auto

Department: Health, Safety, Security, and Environment

Reports to: Manager – HSSE

Location: Riyadh

Job Purpose:

The HSSE Executive is responsible for creating and promoting a culture of health, safety, security, and environmental compliance across all business operations.

Operational Responsibilities:

1. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
2. Develop safe operating procedures accounting for identified hazards.
3. Perform site inspections (offices, workshops, showrooms) to ensure policy adherence.
4. Document inspection findings and define corrective action plans.
5. Promote and educate teams on safe work practices and hazard awareness.
6. Facilitate in-house HSSE training programs (e.g., Fire Warden, First Aid, 5S).
7. Maintain incident records and compile HSSE dashboards for reporting.
8. Advise stakeholders on hazardous substances disposal and environmental safety.
9. Ensure compliance with fire safety, noise control, machinery safeguarding, and similar regulations.
10. Implement Integrated Health, Safety, Security, Environment Management Systems (IHSSEMS).
11. Liaise with regulatory authorities, government bodies, and external stakeholders.
12. Identify and promote continuous improvement opportunities aligned with corporate sustainability goals.
13. Conduct or support emergency drills and preparedness initiatives.
14. Act as the main point of contact for all HSSE site audits and inspections.

Strategic Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the continuous development of HSSE processes and culture.
2. Support alignment of operations with sustainability and regulatory benchmarks.

People Management Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and mentor 2 direct reports within the HSSE team.

Product / Process Improvement:

1. Lead initiatives aimed at improving existing HSSE processes and standards.
2. Recommend improvements in line with evolving regulations and industry best practices.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements and international HSSE standards.

Communication:

• Internal Contacts: Company employees, Facilities team, Central procurement team.
• External Contacts: Government officials, Vendors, Customers.

Education & Certifications:

• Minimum: Diploma with NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely (Level 02/03).
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Safety, or related technical field with NEBOSH certification.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum: 3 years in Safety, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Preferred: 4+ years in a similar HSSE role.
