Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures
- Provide training and education to employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices
- Investigate accidents or incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Monitor and analyze HSE metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety programs
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to HSE
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in HSE
Requirements:
- Prior experience in health, safety, and environment or a related field
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certifications in HSE or related areas are a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
