Health Safety and Environment Officer

We are looking for a proactive Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This role is essential for ensuring adherence to safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety across all project sites. The successful candidate will be instrumental in safeguarding the health and well-being of employees while minimizing environmental impacts.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough daily safety inspections and audits at project sites to ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
2. Facilitate safety inductions and toolbox talks to educate employees on safety practices and protocols.
3. Monitor the implementation of safety procedures and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
4. Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses, compiling comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations for improvement.
5. Perform detailed risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies to address identified hazards.
6. Assist in creating and implementing comprehensive HSE plans tailored to specific projects and environments.
7. Collaborate closely with SEC HSE representatives and project engineers to ensure alignment on safety initiatives.
8. Ensure that emergency preparedness and response procedures are established, communicated, and regularly tested to maintain readiness.

1. COA, Riyadh - 28 Substation
2. COA, Qassim - 17 Substation
3. COA, Al Kharj - 7 Substation
4. COA, Hail - 5 Substation
5. COA, Al Duwadimi - 3 Substation

Skills

Candidates Requirements according to SEC:

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of HSE.
2. Proficient in English – speaking, reading, and writing.
3. Must have HSE Courses such as:

• OSHA, IOSH Managing Safely, Risk Assessment.
• NEBOSH and ISO certifications are a strong plus.
• Any degree and bachelor's preferred.
