Job description

Health and Safety Manager

Our client is an international project management company involved in the construction management of several large medical projects.

They are seeking to add a Health and Safety Manager to their team. The successful candidate will be based at the company's main office alongside other core project management team members and will occasionally travel to various project sites within KSA.

Responsibilities:

1. Initiate, develop, and implement Health and Safety Programmes within the work program.
2. Develop health and safety performance parameters to guide and motivate the work towards safety goals.
3. Provide specialist health and safety resources and advice to project teams.
4. Inform management of their legal responsibilities regarding occupational safety, health, and welfare.
5. Guide the project team on health and safety training content.
6. Ensure effective incident and injury recording and reporting mechanisms are in place.
7. Act as an interface with the National Government Body (Health and Safety Authority) regarding incidents, injuries, and concerns.
8. Regularly visit construction sites to audit compliance with legal and contractual obligations.

Language Requirements:

English - Very Good

Arabic - Fluent / Excellent

Additional Requirements:

Own a car: Any

Have a driving license: Any

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 15 years of experience, with significant experience in Western countries and some experience in the Gulf region.
• Medical experience is highly beneficial.
• Degree qualified.
