DESCRIPTION

Own one of the key growth engines for Amazon in Saudi Arabia. As the Head of Seller Services, you will lead a team that is responsible for growing Amazon’s selection and ensuring the success of brands available on Amazon across a portfolio of categories.

To do this, you will need to identify our current selection opportunities, work with existing brand owners and retailers to close those gaps, negotiate with missing brands to launch them on Amazon, and develop solutions (e.g., new products, programs) that will enable our Selling Partners to grow on Amazon.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior leader who excels at data-driven decision making; thrives in a high-performance culture; embraces ambiguity with critical thinking; collaborates effectively and influence leaders in SA, MENA and worldwide, both in Amazon as well as outside of Amazon; and ultimately delivers results through constant innovation and flawless execution.

STRATEGIC PLANNING & EXECUTION

A day in the life
In this role, you will
– Lead the marketplace PF/category/cohort/Vertical seller strategy and operations, driving growth through seller acquisition, retention, and optimization of the seller experience
– Build and manage a high-performing seller services team encompassing on-boarding, account management, and support functions
– Establish and track key performance metrics (KPIs) for seller success while developing programs to improve seller satisfaction and performance
– Partner with product, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to enhance the seller experience and drive platform growth
– Oversee seller communication strategy and develop educational resources, training programs, and support documentation
– Manage escalations and strategic seller relationships while ensuring compliance with marketplace standards and regulations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or engineering
– Relevant experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or related digital platforms
– People management experience, including leading large teams and managing managers
– Proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence at scale ($200M+ business impact)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Master’s or MBA from Tier1 University
– Multi-lingual with Arabic literacy
– Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with experience in data-driven decision making
– Excellence in cross-functional leadership and executive stakeholder management
– Experience in global marketplace operations or similar two-sided platform businesses
– Track record of building and scaling seller-focused teams and programs
– Deep understanding of e-commerce metrics, seller economics, and marketplace dynamics
– International business experience and understanding of multiple market dynamics
