Job Title: Head of PR and Communications

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose

This role requires excellent and broad Communications knowledge and experience, along with a detailed understanding of the business, market, and key competitors. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline, and extensive experience in the Communications field, preferably with recent management experience in a mid-sized organization within the aviation or defense industry.

Qualifications such as CIPR or CiB in Communications are desirable, indicating an in-depth understanding of Communications concepts and processes within the technical or subject area, with a basic knowledge of other Communications areas. The role demands comprehensive knowledge of several Communications areas and how their processes and resources interact to achieve objectives.

A good understanding of industry and commercial awareness is essential to understand the relative positioning of the company's products/services versus competitors.

Management Responsibilities

The role involves full management of a team, including defining roles and responsibilities, planning for future needs, counseling employees on performance, and contributing to pay decisions. The role requires evaluating complex situations using multiple sources of information, including internal and external procedures, practices, and data from other teams or organizations.
