The HVAC Coil Operations Head will be responsible for leading, managing, and overseeing all operations related to the manufacturing and installation of HVAC coils. The role involves coordination between production, site execution, design, and client interaction to ensure timely, safe, and quality project delivery.

HVAC Coil Operations Head – Roles and Responsibilities- HVAC

Key Roles of HVAC Coil Operations Head

i. Lead and oversee the daily operations related to HVAC coil manufacturing and installation.

ii. Act as the key point of contact between the sales-management, clients, production team.

iii. Strong planning capabilities to ensure timely completion of operations tasks.

iv. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

v. Leadership & Supervision: Lead the operations team (production, site team, design and coordination) ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

vi. To be aware of the coils manufacturing and installation procedures as per the standards

vii. Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of manpower, tools, equipment, and materials needed.

viii. Schedule Management: Develop and monitor installation schedules to ensure timely project completion.

ix. Problem Solving: Address on-site issues promptly to avoid delays and maintain quality.

x. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of progress, inspections, and safety incidents; report to higher management.

xi. To ensure the manhours to be utilized less than the estimated manhours.

Key Responsibilities of the HVAC Coil Installation Site Operations Head

1. Planning & Preparation

o Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work.

o Develop detailed installation plans and schedules.

o Coordinate with the production team for timely delivery of materials and equipment.

2. Team Management

o Recruit, train, and supervise site personnel and subcontractors.

o Assign tasks and monitor performance.

o Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefings.

3. Installation Oversight

o Ensure proper handling, positioning, and installation of HVAC coils.

o Verify installation complies with design specifications, standards, and safety regulations.

o Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages.

4. Safety & Compliance

o Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols.

o Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.

o Ensure availability and use of PPE and safety equipment.

5. Quality Control

o Monitor workmanship and installation quality.

o Coordinate testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

o Document and resolve any quality issues.

6. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

o Track installation progress against the project timeline.

o Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.

7. Problem Resolution

o Address technical challenges or site conflicts.

o Liaise with design engineers or manufacturers for technical support.

o Identify the site challenges and immediately act according to the requirement.

8. Handover & Documentation

o Ensure complete installation and documentation.

o Facilitate handovers to commissioning and maintenance teams.

o Ensure the job completion certification to be signed by the user
