Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Head of HR to join our organization. The Head of HR will lead the strategic and operational direction of Human Resources across the Waad Education school network. This role is responsible for leading the HR department in Waad Education, ensuring optimal workforce planning, fostering a high-performance culture, and building robust HR systems and capabilities to support over 600 employees across teaching and non-teaching functions.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes for teachers, academic leaders, and support staff.
  • Lead annual workforce planning and school headcount reviews in coordination with Finance and School Principals.
  • Ensure talent acquisition practices meet Saudi localization requirements and support academic excellence.

Compensation, Benefits & HR Policy

  • Lead annual salary reviews, incentive schemes, and contract renewals.
  • Ensure all HR policies are compliant with Saudi labor law and support employee engagement.

Performance & Development

  • Establish and monitor performance management systems that drive accountability and growth.
  • Oversee L&D initiatives including teacher professional development, leadership programs, and administrative upskilling.
  • Promote a culture of feedback, coaching, and continuous improvement.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Supervise core HR operations including employee relations, leave, attendance, payroll inputs, and HRIS updates.
  • Ensure timely and compliant visa processing, GOSI, and Muqeem data management.
  • Lead internal audits and Ministry of Education compliance checks related to HR.

Organizational Development

  • Support school restructuring, role alignment, and organizational design projects.
  • Conduct regular policy reviews and ensure consistent application across all school units.
  • Design and track KPIs related to retention, engagement, and HR service delivery

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Completed Bachelor s degree, Master s and above is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role, in companies with 500+ headcount.
  • Experience in the education sector is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complexity, scale operations, and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
