Job Overview

We are looking for a Head of Finance to lead our finance team at Basamh Group. The Finance Department’s vision is to ensure financial health, support strategic decision-making, and provide insights that drive the Group’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As a successful candidate, you will:

• Develop and oversee the financial planning process, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
• Create and manage annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights for variance analysis.
• Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business cases and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with department heads to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to drive performance improvement.
• Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to internal and external parties.
• Manage a team of financial analysts, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to enhance reporting and analysis capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining the integrity of financial data.

Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a finance role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial regulations, and compliance.
• Excellent proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English, complemented by strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex financial issues and provide practical solutions.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Experience in consumer goods or related industries is preferred.
